The #1 Website for Cruises from Miami, Port Canaveral, Tampa and More

Port Everglades Cruises

A close second to Miami in passenger traffic, Port Everglades is also the second-busiest cruise port in the world. In a given year, approximately 4 million passengers will sail from the port aboard more than 40 different ships from 13 different cruise lines. To give you a hint at the port’s size, roughly 2,000 different cruises leave this port every year from 12 different terminals.

Of course, with that many cruises any destination is within your reach. The most popular runs include trips to the Bahamas (where there is daily service aboard the Bahamas Express). Likewise, many cruises sail to classic Caribbean destinations like Mexico, Belize, and Jamaica. But you’ll also find extended journeys such as a 94-day world cruise aboard the Queen Victoria.

Note: Don’t be confused by the Port Everglades name. The port is actually located in Ft. Lauderdale, about 30 miles north of the Port of Miami. It can be easily reached from either the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale airports.
